On a daily basis, we work with clients to track down and remediate issues that affect their email deliverability.  When it comes to getting to the bottom of a Gmail deliverability issue, reviewing Google Postmaster Tools data is near the top of the list. Our deliverability team knows that the postmaster dashboard data is a great way to keep your finger on the pulse of your email program’s Gmail performance.

In working with many clients, one thing we often see is most users review postmaster data in a reactive manner, trying to understand when or where their reputation may have gotten off track. Here at SparkPost, we want to easily review this critical data early and often, not only to remedy current issues but to prevent these issues from arising at all. The first thing we decided to do was bring all of the valuable data together in a single view.

Now you can easily review that data within Inbox Tracker and we’ve integrated some of our Gmail deliverability data into the displays. How cool is that?

The Postmaster Dashboard

We’ve incorporated Google Postmaster data directly into Inbox Tracker. To save time and energy, you can customize what postmaster data will be displayed each time you review a domain, letting you focus on the information that matters most to you.

Since our data is all on the same page, you can easily see how the different data points within the Google Postmaster data relate to each other.

Once we displayed all of the postmaster data together, we took another step to integrate Inbox Tracker Gmail Deliverability data right into the most popular Postmaster dashboard ‘IP Reputation’.

In the example above, a sending domain is switching ESPs. As the warmup to new IPs begins on approximately 23 February, you can see how IP reputation and Inbox percentages are very closely related. By the 6th of March, the warmup is complete and the new IPs show much better deliverability.  We believe charts like this one show just how important keeping your IP reputation high can be.

Once we had a configurable dashboard and some cool integrations with Inbox Tracker data we wanted to make sure that it was easy to configure.  Integrating your data feeds into our platform is easy.  We provide you with an account email address and you simply add the address via Manage Users within Google Postmaster Tools.  Once that is complete, we start showing your data within our platform.

Our deliverability experts know monitoring postmaster data is a great way to stay on top of your deliverability game and we believe our integration into Inbox Tracker will make it easier than ever before.
